Location: 8162 S Priest Dr, Tempe, Arizona 85284 United States of America 8162 S Priest Dr, Tempe, Arizona 85284 United States of America Under the direction of the Manager, Logistics, you will assist with Purchasing, Customer Service, and U-Haul Field entities with information on distribution, transportation and logistics related projects. Assist with shipping and freight concerns. Expedite and track shipments; perform cost comparison. Maintain department standards execute daily operations and functions of the U-haul freight department. Duties: Reasonable and predictable attendance is essential Logistical support and customer service for field personnel in the U-Haul System and U-Haul vendors Operational interaction with carriers on behalf of U-Haul (shipment rating, scheduling, tracking, etc.) Carrier freight claim filing and resolution on behalf of U-Haul Special projects as directed: Identify and present opportunities of improvement, increased efficiencies, and /or cost benefit for U-Haul Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs and the internet and have the ability to learn and use proprietary U-Haul computer programs.
