Job description

Position Summary This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year. Essential Functions: - Lead Learn to Swim private & group lessons for participants ages 3 through adult. - Help develop water safety awareness amongst program participants & parents. - Assist in the progressive development of swimmers based on their individual goals. - Recognize and respond effectively and efficiently to emergencies. - Respond to participant questions and comments. - Provide excellent customer service to all Ritchie Center guests. - Maintain a general knowledge of programs taking place in the pool area. - Additional duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers. - Problem Solving - Flexibility/Adaptability - Time Management - Customer Service Oriented Required Qualifications: - Must be at least 16 year of age. - Current/previous American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid certification (classes offered through the Ritchie Center throughout the year).
