Job Description: Position Title : Kitter Operating Company: Environmental Solutions Group – Marathon Equipment Location: Vernon, AL: Reports to: Production Supervisor: Department: Operations: Shift: 1st shift: Position Summary: This position is p rimarily responsible for organizing kitting based on load schedules and for determining parts availability based on information in ERP system . Roles and Key Responsibilities: Observes all safety regulations and reports any unsafe working conditions to Department Supervisor. Reads work orders to determine kitting requirements and extensive use of ERP system to determine parts availability and follows Department Supervisor’s direction to ascertain materials or parts to be moved with the use of forklifts . Determine when parts are needed and communicate requirements to Fab department. Monitor and update Excel-based load schedule with orders to be kitted and labeled. Prioritize kits based on load schedules . Maintain certification for forklift use or other certifications as required for specialized equipment (coordinate with supervisor and local HR resource).
