Overview: Job Description Summary: Provides assistance to the surgical staff and physicians during dental surgical procedures, ensuring availability and proper handling of the instruments, supplies, and equipment. Job Description: Essential Functions: - Prepares dental instruments for sterilization. - Assists the dentist during surgery by passing instruments and materials. - Coordinates and performs the requisitioning of instruments, supplies, and equipment for dental surgical cases. - Maintains a clean and organized surgical environment. - Documents patient care and maintains accurate records. - Orders and maintains inventory of surgical supplies and equipment. Education Requirement: Graduate from an approved dental assistant program or equivalent experience, required. Licensure Requirement: Radiographer license, required. Certifications: Dental Assistant Certification, preferred.
