Job Description: The Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America (CSREA) is a campus-wide research and programming hub that supports and generates rigorous and accessible scholarship, performance, and art on a broad range of important questions and pressing issues related to race and ethnicity to help build greater understanding and a more just world. The Program Coordinator will help develop and execute programmatic events and academic initiatives that emphasize the importance of questions of race and race-related topics with emphasis on the arts, humanities, social sciences, and sciences across the university and with public partners. Projects include but may not be limited to: professional development workshops for faculty and graduate students, working groups, fellows programs, conferences and convenings, speaker series, and various other public engagement endeavors. The Program Coordinator will collaborate with the Center Manager and Associate Director to determine resource requirements, budget, and deliverables and will provide regular written reports.
