Description About Us: RapidFire Safety & Security is a leading provider of fire, life safety, and physical security services. We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales estimator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our Austin RapidFire team. Position Overview: The Sales Estimator is responsible for preparing cost estimates for the installation of fire sprinkler systems. This position will analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates to aid management in bidding on or determining price of product and or service. Qualifications: Skills: · Excellent Math / Computation skills. · Excellent customer service skills including phone correspondence, and in-person. · Superior attention to detail and accuracy. · Strong computer skills (company proposal software, Adobe, Smart Draw and Microsoft Office tools) - Cost Estimates: Prepare cost estimates for installation of fire sprinkler systems for retrofit and new construction projects or services. - Analyze Plans: Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
