Technician - Maintenance

TC Transcontinental is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician III to maintain the production machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities and grounds for our Griffin, GA location. Essential Duties and Tasks: - Performs varied maintenance duties to include work orders and preventive maintenance to meet established maintenance and operations objectives. - Organizes work for smooth, efficient operations. Accurately tracks all time and materials used to perform work orders and other repairs using both manual and electronic means. - Troubleshoots equipment problems and performs necessary repairs. Coordinates with the Maintenance Manager before modifying any plant equipment. - Responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operation of the machine is consistent with the policies and procedures which make up the Quality System. Skills and Abilities: - Industrial maintenance operations - High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of progressive industrial maintenance experience - Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and have a working knowledge of PLC controlled equipment. - Skills need to include but not limited to the troubleshooting and repair of all production equipm...
