Department: 10010 IRCAD - Administration Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Variable Pay Range: $19.80 - $29.70 Under direct supervision, provides technical support for experiential education courses at IRCAD North America. Major Responsibilities: - Prepares laboratory environment for professional education courses as outlined by course coordinator and laboratory leadership. Prepares instrumentation, equipment, and consumables needed for the course. - Conducts technical laboratory procedures and animal anesthesia, surgery, and postoperative care. - Receives, prepares, positions, and performs proper disposition of all tissue samples. - Assists in the monitoring of research laboratory inventory and equipment and taking appropriate actions. - Follows all DEA regulations related to the receipt, storage, use, destruction, and disposal of controlled substances. - Assist in maintaining the storage of research data and tissue records. - Operates all equipment and devices necessary for the performance of laboratory procedures including radiographic equipment. - Assists in the maintenance of the physical environment.
