Essential Job Functions: - Evaluates and develops treatment plans based off the initial evaluation and the physician referral. - Provides discharge planning and documentation. - Performs daily therapy treatments with patients. - Compiles data on patients’ responses to treatments and progress and reports them in writing. - Communicates with Physical Therapist Assistants regarding the plan of care and progress of patients. - Communicates with the referring Physician in various forms. - Understands and complies with universal precautions, safety and risk policies and procedures. - Assists with department QA reports and records. - Performs necessary documentation including progress notes and logs in timely manner. - Monitors treatments administered by Physical Therapy Assistants, Aides and/ or Rehab Technicians. - Prepares supplies as needed. - Keeps e...
