Master Maintenance Technician

Job description

General Purpose: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment within the facility. Perform required performance maintenance (PM’s) as scheduled. Job Duties and Responsibilities:  Install, program, maintain, document, and troubleshoot programmable logic controls (PLC) and components  Plan and coordinate installation of electronic controls  Assist in training other maintenance staff as needed  Report daily to maintenance manager on the status of projects and repairs  Assist in regulatory tests of plant instrumentation and document results as required  Understand and monitor plant systems: HVAC, Compressed Air, electrical, glycol chillers, etc.  Provide capability in PM related activities  Document all work performed  Assist as needed on all types of maintenance calls throughout the plant  Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly fashion  Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues  Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements  The requirements herein are...
