Description JOB SUMMARY: Within the context of a client/patient and family centered care model and in accordance with the established vision and values of the organization, position works under the functional direction of a Registered Nurse or other designate and in cooperation with the interdisciplinary team members to assist in the delivery of client/patient care. Performs duties such as cleaning, maintaining and ensuring equipment is in working order, providing client/patient care within scope of practice, transporting clients/patients to and from required areas using stretchers and wheelchairs, moving a variety of equipment within the unit, assisting nursing and technical staff with the lifting and transferring of clients/patients, providing support to clients/patients with dressing and/or bathroom care needs, assisting clients/patients with meals and maintaining supplies for various carts, rooms and storage areas; cleans equipment and designated areas as required to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients/patients and staff.
