Job description

Thompson First Group is seeking a Machine Operator for a contract to hire position with a local client in Aston, PA. Candidates that have experience setting up, changing over and operating industrial production equipment are encouraged to apply. Job Description: - Fabricates plastic rods, slabs, and sheets in accordance with Shop Orders. - Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner - Reads and interprets Shop Orders - Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements - Use of grinders and dowlers needed - Uses precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathes, vertical milling machines, drill presses, doweling tools and planers - Properly and safely selects, aligns, secures and removes holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machine - Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling - Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment - Possesses ability to track parts and jobs - Utilizes and abides by all safety procedures - Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions Schedule: Thompson First Group is an equal opportu...
