Description: JOB DESCRIPTION: NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee. - Maintains athletic fields for various sports. - Operates a reel mower, tractor, power-spray unit and skid steer loader. - May use other grounds equipment such as trimmers, edgers and backpack and street blowers. - Applies fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides to turf areas. - Adheres to OSHA standards, and other applicable federal and state regulations when working with hazardous chemicals, materials and power equipment. - Uses personal protective equipment as required. - May drive utility vehicles to and from work sites. - Performs related responsibilities as required.
