RESEARCH ASSISTANT POSITION AT BROWN-AFFILIATED BUTLER HOSPITAL: The Behavioral Medicine and Addictions Research at Butler Hospital is looking to hire full-time research assistants to work on studies investigating the development and treatment of mood, substance use, and chronic pain problems in patients recruited from a psychiatric hospital setting or a community setting. There is a strong emphasis on physical health, health behaviors such as exercise, and digital mental health in our projects. The position is available for a start date of June of 2026. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in psychology or related experience by the start of the position. The position is particularly attractive for those wishing to pursue graduate school or medical school in the future. Opportunities to publish papers and present at professional conferences are available and encouraged. Our previous research assistants have been highly successful gaining acceptance to top-tier doctoral programs in clinical psychology and related fields.
