Position Purpose: As the supplier quality technician you will be enabling production to do their job with high quality materials. This role will reduce delays due to supplier product issues, and allow only quality products to make it to our customers. The supplier quality technician helps open the lines of communication between production and our valued supply base by providing timely and data driven information to the department’s internal and external customers. You will help to maintain the premium quality level in purchased materials. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance & Packing Quality: - Assure that purchased materials comply with LEGO requirements. - Act as first line of defense when supplier defects are found, lead the categorization of the defects and communicate to the suppliers in a manner that is clear and concise via supplier notifications - Support production through efficient containments of defects, strong and timely communication, and escalations - Manage quarantined material and follow through the nonconforming material process including following up on the RMA p...
