Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Job description

Job Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the activities for workers responsible for the milling & assembly of products to ensure all projects meet a high quality, within budget, maximizing efficiencies and in a timely manner in order to meet customer’s requirements. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: - Plan and organize the production activities to ensure that the required products are milled and assembled in time to meet the customer demands. - Ensure customer quality expectations per engineering prints via a first article process and periodic quality checks - Work with scheduling to ensure that all schedules are attainable on a daily basis - Work with procurement to ensure material availability and accuracy to meet schedules. Maintain WIP inventory - Work with engineering through the ECR process to correct any BOM issues or improvements - Control the use of all resources to ensure that costs are minimized and efficiencies are maintained - Ensure all activities are done in accordance with health and safety procedures - Maintain high morale among all employees by promoting and enforcing principles of great leadership - Monitor the performance of employe...
