Employment Type : Full-Time FSLA: Salary/Exempt: Division: Finance: Department: Corporate Accounting: Reports to: VP of Finance: Supervisory Duties: Yes: Direct the activities of all payroll staff, developing and monitoring all tasks necessary to accomplish the organization’s payroll processing objectives. Responsibilities / Essential Functions: - Entering new hires as well as maintaining current information for all union and non union employees in the business system, including address & related contact information, exemptions, rates, local union, etc. Coordinates with Project Managers to gather all information needed to fulfill a project's Certified Payroll requirements. - Enter new hires into both E-Verify, and applicable state systems. - Reponsible for trouble-shooting & resolving all issues related to payroll; including placing stop payments on lost paychecks and issuing replacement paychecks, fixing incorrect wage and/or benefit rates, investigating incorrect hours worked. - Responsible for reviewing the weekly payroll for all union & non-union employees. - Filing federal and state taxes on weekly/monthly basis. - Entering updates to union pay tables. - Setting up MOF and Uni...
