Job description

Overview The Security Guard will monitor traffic flow through security gate onto premises. Check Employees, Contractors, and Guests in and out as they enter/exit the facility. Responsible for supervising, training, and directing duties of contract guards daily. Responsibilities: - Guard entrance gate of industrial plant and grounds, warehouse, or other property to control traffic to and from buildings and grounds. - Open gates to allow entrance or exit of employees, truckers, and authorized visitors. Responsible for verifying inbound and outbound documentation is correct and filing of the paperwork. - Guide visitors and truckers to various parts of grounds or buildings. - Check credentials or approved roster before admitting anyone. - Inspect outgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of company property or products. - Responsible for supervising, training, and directing duties of contract guards daily. - Creation and implementation of new procedures, directed by management. - Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. - Perform all other duties as assigned.
