The Team: The Office of the Chief Nurse and Midwifery Officer (OCNMO) is a small, high performing, outcomes focussed team. We support the advancement of the nursing and midwifery professions to enable the delivery of high-quality healthcare to the Tasmanian community. The OCNMO provides strategic leadership and professional practice advice on a diverse range of issues relating to the nursing and midwifery professions. Our priorities focus on, but are not limited to, strategic planning, policy, workforce, research, education and training locally, nationally and internationally. The Role: Under the broad direction of the Chief Nurse and Midwifery Officer (CNMO), the Project/Research Nurse will: - Manage and coordinate nursing and midwifery projects that contribute to the strategic objectives of the Department of Health (DoH). - Be responsible for undertaking robust research activities that contribute to nursing and midwifery policy or projects. - Utilise a highly developed understanding of the nursing and midwifery professions and the healthcare sector to manage projects. - Establish and maintain consultative links internally within the Departments; with community and industry repres...
