Description The Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology of NYU School of Medicine invites applications for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Infectious Diseases-trained Clinician Educator at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level. Positions are based at NYU Langone Health and NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue, the major teaching affiliate of the NYU School of Medicine. At NYU Langone Health responsibilities include: At NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue , the role is for an Associate Hospital Epidemiologist whose responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Attending on the hospital’s inpatient Infectious Diseases consult services, - Providing ambulatory care in the NYU faculty group practice - Participating in teaching activities of the Division. - Work closely with the Hospital Epidemiologist/Director of Infection Control and the Infection Prevention and Control team to decrease or eliminate healthcare associated infections in patients, staff and visitors. - Work closely with the infectious diseases consult teams, Bellevue microbiology lab, inpatient and outpatient clinical departments, EVS, operations/facilities, and other multidisciplinary partners. - Attend...
