City/State Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift: Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara Virginia Beach GH 4W Ortho/Trauma is hiring for a RN Unit Coordinator to join the team! This is a great opportunity to start gaining experience for future leadership positions! Shift: FT 36hrs - Nights: Unit Overview: The 3 West Ortho/Trauma unit at Sentara Virginia Beach General specializes in providing expert care for patients with musculoskeletal injuries and related complications. Our unit is comprised of 24 in-patient beds. Our patient population includes admissions from the Ortho Joint, Spine, Fracture, and Ortho/Trauma centers, as well as medical/surgical patients. The nursing unit enjoys a supportive team environment including resources such as a unit-based nurse educator, orthopedic navigator, respiratory therapy, PT/OT, Patient Care Technicians, Unit Coordinators, Charge Nurse, Team Coordinator, and manager. The unit has an active Unit-Based Partnership Council and participates in many hospital-wide Nurse led Councils.
