PCA/ Nurse Assistant - Encinitas Telemetry/Stepdown 3 Central - Nights - 262002886 Description: This is a benefit-eligible, full-time position (72 hours every 2 weeks) working 12-hour night shifts, 6:30pm - 7:00am, on varied days of the week, including weekends and holiday rotation, and located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. This department is fast paced with higher acuity stepdown and telemetry patients. You will need to be able to communicate effectively and be able to critically think on the spot if there are vital signs that are abnormal. You will encounter frequent communication with nurses on the floor as you will be working with 3-4 nurses at a time, servicing up to 9 patients during a 12-hour shift. This team focuses on the overall patient experience and is unique in having 36 private beds on the unit.
