Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Grounds Lead is working position responsible for the direction and management of a crew and grounds maintenance of assigned properties. You must maintain the external appearance of the assigned facilities. You will report to the Grounds Supervisor. Primary Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by management. Requirements: - You will lead grounds crew to ensure that standards of work are maintained at a high level, tasks are completed promptly. - Ensure that the crew has the proper knowledge of their tasks and the equipment to do their job properly. - Support inventory control and upkeep of assigned grounds equipment and supplies. - Recommend revisions to enhance grounds programs. - Deliver supplies and equipment to facilities. - You will ensure adherence to safe work practices by grounds crew. - Do Performance Management (Reviews, address sub-standard performance). - Able to learn various technical/mechanical requirements of the job. - Proficient in the operation and use of multiple lawn equipment such as lawnmowers, weed eaters, hedgers. - Experienced in landscape crew management and direction. - Perform all required work in landscaping which requ...
