Job description

Overview This Quality Assurance Registered Nurse will report directly to the Area Vice President and be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the highest quality of patient care, compliance with regulatory standards, and continuous performance improvement within the hospice program. - Develop, implement, and oversee the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program for hospice services. - Analyze clinical performance data to identify trends and implement process improvements. - Conduct audits, chart reviews, and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to hospice regulations and standards. - Facilitate quality improvement projects and initiatives based on identified areas of need. - Monitor and report patient outcomes, infection control data, and adverse events. - Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs), The Joint Commission (TJC), National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), and state-specific hospice regulations. - Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulations and ensure the organization’s policies and procedures align with regulatory changes. - Prepare and assist in hospice surveys, inspections, and accreditatio...
