JOB DETAILS: Shift 2nd/Swing Shift Location In-Shop Schedule Work schedule to be provided by leader Salary Range $18.90 - $34.14 Per Hour JOB SUMMARY: Perform multiple tasks including masking, cleaning, grit blasting, glass bead cleaning, and thermal spray operations under limited supervision. Program and operate an ABB robot to apply thermal spray coatings for salvage and repair or restoration of worn components utilizing twin wire arc, combustion flame, or High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) processes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Perform thermal spray operations utilizing various thermal spray processes. - Program, operate and maintain ABB Robot arm and related fixtures and turn tables. - Perform masking operations and fabricate masking shields. - Assist with designs fixtures and selects tooling to improve efficiencies in the shop. - Perform basic measuring operations. - Ensure proper coating thickness for minimal machining. - Maintain knowledge of thermal spray coatings and their application. - Properly prepare, mask, and apply thermal spray coatings to rebuild parts. - Work safely at all times.
