Company: Mercer Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health and Benefits Attorney team at Mercer. This role will be based in any Mercer office in our New York Metro. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The Senior Consulting Attorney, Health & Welfare, will join a highly-skilled, cohesive team of lawyers and technical experts who analyze health and welfare benefit plan legislation, regulations, subregulatory guidance, and judicial decisions and provide guidance and practical next steps for compliance or mitigation to our clients. We will count on you to: Develop market-differentiating advice, insights, and solutions related to health and welfare plan compliance. Analyze key policy, legislative and legal developments and issues, and share advice, insights and solutions with internal and external clients. Act as legal/technical expert providing compliance consulting, insights and solutions to clients and consultants on unique legal/technical and compliance issues affecting the design, administration, and operations of health and welfare plans programs, and practices.
