SUMMARY: - Responsible for evaluating and assessing raw inventory and "WIP" levels in order to assure operational efficiency while maintaining customer service levels. - Ensures proper mix of gauges (MRP). - Reports to Plant Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensures material to be received and in perpetual within 72 hours. - Reviews exception reports and non-conformance reports and resolves issues in a timely manner. - Coordinates outside processors slitting and transferring of material. - Schedules inbound appointments. - Creates set ups and optimizes yield % and run time with minimal arbor changes. - Ensures slit coils have been properly cost in a timely manner (including scanning slit coils). - Ensures slit coil inventory levels are within the company guidelines (min/max levels maintained). - Reviews receiving paperwork and assigns part...
