Position Overview: - Bonus: Up to $6,000 - Department: Surgery, OR - Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6am - 3pm, rotating weekday, rotating weekend, and rotating holiday call, with one weekly stay late - 1 FT available - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's East, Trussville - Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. - Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies. - Hand required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery. - Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. - Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor and track instruments counts throughout procedures. - Assist surgeons provision of hemostasis during surgery. What You Will Need: Education: - BLS Provider preferred.
