Data Steward - Strategic Finance

Job description

Job Summary The Strategic Finance Data Steward serves as the senior data partner to the Strategic Finance organization, ensuring data used for performance measurement is well‑defined, governed, documented, lineage‑traceable, and delivered on time. This role provides thought leadership and execution oversight across Databricks usage, dataset documentation, and data prioritization, acting as the primary bridge between Strategic Finance stakeholders and enterprise data teams. The steward translates business needs into clear data requirements, manages priorities and expectations, and ensures governance standards are embedded upstream—without owning engineering delivery or system operations. The role requires strong experience in banking data, data warehousing, and data governance, along with the ability to independently manage timelines, competing priorities, and senior‑level stakeholder relationships in a highly collaborative environment.
