Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary: Position serves as the initial and primary contact person for the Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine program within the division of Academic Pediatrics. Responsibilities include answering and screening all calls, scheduling appointments, completing prior authorizations, and maintaining various clinic schedules. Individual will utilize EHR to manage records and require substantial use of medical terminology. Job Description: Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Schedules appointments and procedures for patients for Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine, as well as coordinating appointments with other specialties. Coordinates administrative and clinical support services such as patient calls, processing and paperwork related to prescription refills, patient appointments, referrals and prior authorizations. Answers telephones, takes messages, and screens patient inquiries, providing information according to departmental procedures and policies.
