Position Summary: The Legislative & Regulatory Policy Manager is responsible for helping manage Xcel Energy's relationship with the Legislature, the Governor's Office and the Public Utilities Commission. Outcomes from this position include proactively identifying issues of significance to Xcel Energy and the customers and communities served in the state, and initiating successful efforts that benefit the Company, its customers and communities. Efforts include protecting the company's and customers' interests before the legislature and helping to manage and resolve regulatory matters before the Public Utilities/Service Commissions. This role must gain the cooperation of a range of other employees to utilize their expertise in the completion of these tasks.
