Job description

The Salvation Army Midland Division Camp Mihaska located in Bourbon, Missouri, is looking for 4 Lifeguards. We are looking for individuals ages 18 or older to fill these positions. This is a full-time, temporary summer position that will start on June 01, 2026, and will end July 31, 2026. The pay is $375 per week. Position Summary: Provide a safe environment at the pool and waterfront by adhering to and enforcing water safety rules. Essential Duties: - Work under the direction of the Waterfront Director and Head Lifeguard. - Prepare, lead, or assist in all pool and waterfront program activities, including meals, as directed. - Provide guidance and discipline to maintain a safe environment at the pool. - Adhere to and enforce camp policies and procedures. - Report maintenance problems to the Waterfront Director. - Report camper and staff issues to the Divisional Youth Secretary. - Assist with camper registration. - Work closely with Leadership to maintain a safe and loving environment for campers and staff. - Maintain confidentiality and comply with The Salvation Army Safe From Harm guidelines.
