Flight Operations Mechanic Company: Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Flight Operations Mechanic (FOM) to join the Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) in Berkeley, MO . The selected candidate must be able to work occasional Saturdays and be able to deploy with the aircraft for one to two week deployments multiple times per year. Position Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, inspections, and other tasks required to operate a 757 aircraft Perform preflight, transit check and post-flight inspections Tow, marshal, launch, and recover the aircraft Inspect, perform operational checks, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and modify avionics systems Inspect, perform operational checks, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical and electronic systems Inspect, perform operational checks, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and modify hydraulic systems Inspect, perform operational checks, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical systems Install, repair and adjust power plants, auxiliary power units, and aircraft engines Remove and install components on all aircraft systems in accordance with the Aircraft Maintenance Manual Complete air...
