STATUS: Per Diem LOCATION: Orthopedic Associates - Ridgeway Ave DEPARTMENT: Ortho Nuero Imaging: SCHEDULE: Per Diem: SUMMARY: As a Radiologic Tech I, you assist radiologists with imaging procedures to ensure diagnostic quality and the maximum comfort and safety of patients who undergo procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for radiography of patients in all assigned areas. Maintains accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts. Maintains accountability for proper documentation of exams and related procedures utilizing the RIS/PACS and inpatient charts as necessary. Cleans, restocks, and prepares rooms on a daily basis. Practices and is held accountable for excellent customer service behaviors. Provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology. Performs other duties as assigned. Will cover other Ortho locations (Chili, Ridgeway Ave, and RGMG) Excellent patient service skills: Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision Exceptional documentation/computer skills and professional behavior REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 2 years college certificate or equivalent.
