What you will do: - Greets and communicates with patients via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner identifying themselves and their department. - Answers telephones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner utilizing appropriate scripting. - Processes calls to ensure patients are transferred to the appropriate staff member/provider in a timely manner. - Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols in order to maximize provider productivity. Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Experience within a medical office or billing department preferred.
