Job Description Summary Department - Pima Animal Care Center Job Description OPEN UNTIL FILLED: Job Type: Classified: Job Classification: 5757 - Animal Care Field Investigation Officer Salary Grade: 7: Hiring Pay: $22.18 Per Hour: The first review of applications will be on 05/08/2026. Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) is looking to hire an Animal Care Field Investigation Officer to join our team. In addition to the Field Officer duties, our Investigators handle our dangerous/vicious dog investigations, hoarding investigations, joint-agency investigations, and higher-level cases as needed. In this role, you will investigate reported violations of animal care laws and ordinances to help keep Pima County's pets safe. PACC is open seven (7) days a week. Availability to work all schedules is required. Current rotating schedules include 6:00 am - 4:00 pm and 11:00 am - 9:00 pm.
