Job Description Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Modular Offsite Manufacturing Silent Aire – Dublin: What you will do: The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will play a key technical role within the Modular Design Engineering Team, responsible for the end-to-end mechanical design of offsite-manufactured, factory-built modular systems. These include modular data centres, packaged MEP plantrooms, and skid-mounted mechanical assemblies. The role requires proven experience in offsite manufacturing and modular construction, with designs developed specifically for Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA), factory assembly, testing, certification, transportation, and repeatable deployment across global regions. How you will do it: Lead the mechanical design of modular plantrooms, packaged MEP systems, and modular data centre solutions. Develop chilled water, pumping, and heat rejection systems suitable for mission-critical environments. Produce and review P&IDs, schematics, GA drawings, technical specifications, and Descriptions of Operation. Design systems specifically for offsite manufacturing and DfMA principles.
