Job Title: ART STUDIO & GALLERY ASSISTANT Department: Art Studio: Reports To: Art Studio Supervisor and Art Studio Manager Rate of Pay: $15.00/Hour + applicable commissions Shift: Part-Time, Year Round: Weekends, holidays and special events required. Some evenings may be required: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly: Summary: Welcome guests and engagingly guide their Sundance Art Studio experience whether browsing, shopping, creating "make & take" art projects or scheduled for a class. Key Responsibilities: - Warmly greet each guest of the Art Studio & Gallery. - Represent the Art Studio with an engaging presence. - Facilitate scheduling of classes and communicate with artists. - Communicate story of each art display effectively. Strong sales skills are important. - Possess a well-rounded view of how the Art Studio operates. - Promote and assist guests with "make & take" art projects, to allow them to participate in the creative process. - Answer telephone in a professional manner, following Sundance protocol. - Enter purchases in point of sale system, secure accurate payment with appropriate signatures and package guest purchases. - Run and close register. - Exhibit computer proficienc...
