Schedule Full-Time, 36 hours/week: Three - 12 hour shifts, Day/Evening Weekend rotation: General Summary: Provides safe, therapeutic and efficient care and services to patients. Functions as a member of the health care team at an intermediate nursing level to assist in the planning and implementation of patient care based upon sound nursing judgment, clinical preparation, knowledge, skills and experience. Nursing care is provided in accordance with the provisions of the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. In addition, serves as a nursing resource for clinical staff and may serve as the key clinical contact in the absence of the Clinical Coordinator by providing support to clinical staff scheduling and competency oversight of entry level clinicians. Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: - Performs specialized procedures, examinations and/or tests as ordered, such as non-stress tests, assists with spinal taps, urinary catheterization, diabetic foot exams, and insertion of IVs. - In collaboration with physician, provides extensive health education, counseling and advice to patients and families on topics such as life style changes, cholesterol lowering diets, diabetic con...
