Job description
As the national peak body for 148 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs), NACCHO plays a critical role in supporting its members and influencing government policy, programs and system reform to strengthen health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This is a rare opportunity to step into a newly created executive role and help shape the future of Aboriginal community controlled health care in Australia. We are in a period of significant growth, system reform and innovation, with new funding, evolving priorities and new ways of working. As Chief Operating Officer, you will play a critical role in building and strengthening NACCHO’s operational foundation, designing and embedding systems, structures and processes needed to support the organisation’s next phase of growth. This role will be key to ensuring NACCHO is well positioned to achieve its strategic priorities.
