Job description

Position Summary: The AV Infrastructure Specialist serves as the primary technician and installer for Audio/Visual systems and associated networking equipment, and Security systems supporting the academic, administrative, and campus safety technology needs of the university. This position performs installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio/visual (AV) systems, computer networking infrastructure, and electronic security systems across classrooms, lecture halls, performance venues, offices, residence halls, and campus facilities under the guidance of the Manager of Campus AV. The role requires close collaboration with faculty, staff, IT, facilities, and campus safety to ensure reliable, secure, and well-documented systems that support teaching, learning, operations, and safety.
