Overview Our Pet Supplies Plus distribution center in Orangeburg, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, install replace, align and repair equipment and machines in support of distribution of all of our pet-friendly merchandise within our store supply chain. Responsibilities/Qualifications: Maintenance Technician key responsibilities include: - Repairing distribution center equipment and machines, such as lift trucks, material handling equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic controls, using hand and power tools. - Inspecting, installing, replacing, rebuilding, and/or aligning mechanical parts, lighting systems and electrical components. Using precision measuring/testing equipment and reviewing electrical drawings in order to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems. Reviewing mechanical blueprints and manuals to identify parts to be ordered. - Completing work order forms according to established procedures. - Recording part numbers and other pertinent order information on hard copy forms and forwarding to appropriate persons for processing. - Maintaining a professional, helpful attitude in dealings with co-workers, supervisors and their departmental staff...
