Job description
The Role This is a full-time role on the Core Engineering Architecture team and is based in either New York, NY or Austin, TX. The team is responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure and data pipelines required to support all functions across the organization. It is also responsible for ensuring the safe and correct data usage across the organization through robust and secure services which is crucial for the efficient operation of our middle and back offices. Core Responsibilities: - Development and support of the company data platform - Build and maintain data pipelines connecting the data platform with various information systems used within the company - Contribute to internal libraries developed solutions are reusable and consistent across the company - Improve CI/CD processes and infrastructure to ensure high performance and availability of the services provided by the data platform Required: - 4+ years of Java programming - 2+ years of Python programming - 1+ year of software development for AWS - Experience with SQL and relational databases - B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science Preferred: - Familiarity with github CI/CD workflow - Familiarity with docker -...
