Position Overview: - Department : Emergency Department - Schedule : Full Time Days - Work Location : UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham - Benefits for eligible positions include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Direct development and implementation of emergency services policies, procedures and strategy. - Develop departmental goals, plans and standards. - Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives. - Prepare budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding. Coordinate and direct internal/external audits. - Administer and evaluate all clinical activities including care plan development, service level determination and complaint management. What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration: - Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing for an accredited program OR Associate’s Degree in Nursing with a Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare related field; Master’s degree...
