Material Control Specialist Department: Operations & Supply Chain: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Irving, TX - Distribution Center Reporting To: Shawn Farrell: Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 / hour Description: Material Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity and performance of the inventory in assigned distribution centers (DCs). To achieve this objective, you will own the following activities in your assigned DCs and local branches: 1) Receiving Administration along with Reconciliation Oversight 2) cycle account administration, reporting, and troubleshooting, 3) inventory optimization via redistribution, 4) customer return inventory evaluation, 5) special request management, 6) manufacturing order review/release 7) continuous improvement activities. This role will evolve and expand as the organization continues to grow and as the network footprint and inventory stocking methodology evolve with it. The successful candidate has the desire and ability to grow and work through network changes.
