Job description

UH: Facilities Management (Full Time, Day) Job Summary: The Supervisor-HVAC performs a variety of skilled tasks related to preventive maintenance, installation, alterations and repairs of the HVAC and Refrigeration equipment. Supervises HVAC staff, organizing projects and all unforeseen, emergent repairs. Develops a plan-of-action when responding to on-call rotations, which oversees all facility trades. Provides services for LLUMC and its affiliates. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Minimum five years of related trade experience required. One year of supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Able to read, write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Knowledge of concepts and electrical principles used in AC and refrigeration; to include meters circuits, contactors, relays, thermostats, pressure switches, motors, overloads, circuitry and troubleshooting, low and high pressure centrifugal water chillers, screw type water chillers, hydronic piping and pumping system, and safe electrical practices.
