Project Manager of Safety Job Description General Description: As Project Manager of Safety you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of managing safety & health processes and procedures for the entire project. You’ll provide support to the Project Staff in an effort to execute corporate safety and health standards and procedures in compliance with Federal, State, and Local requirements. Responsibilities: - Development of the project safety program. - Prepare and submit permit applications for all projects safety operation. - Maintain relations and correspondence between the project managers, the workers' compensation case representative hospitals and Human Resources - Leads and manages the safety captain for each site, develops a high performance, customer-oriented work team, through training, motivating, coaching, appraising, rewarding, disciplining, and addressing complaints and resolving issues related to staff . - Attend meetings with the project staff and subcontractor representatives to clearly define their role within the confines of the project safety program. - Review each subcontractors safety program and ensure that it meets or exceeds the project safety progra...
