Grand Canyon University is seeking a Commuter Life Assistant to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCU's Student Engagement department. Position Summary/Purpose: The purpose of this position is to support the growth, efforts, and goals of Commuter Life and to oversee the use of the Commuter Lounge. Primary Responsibilities: - Greet commuter students at front desk/ reception and help guide and direct them to the lounge or other department’s on-campus depending on the students need. - Check-in students as they enter the Commuter Lounge - Manage Commuter Lounge and make sure it is cleaned by facilities, fully stocked, and in order at EOD - Restock lounge items and maintain cleanliness of fridges, microwaves, and table surfaces. - Manage commuter lockers and assist commuters in registering for a commuter locker for the year - Responsible for working with Public Safety in ensuring unregistered lockers have locks removed and are correctly registered for by students - May meet with or communicate with customers, clients, contacts, vendors, external to Grand Canyon University and ensures GCU is well represented. - May host commuter pop-up events in the Commuter Lounge....
