Job description
Primary Purpose of Job U Under the direction of the EHS Manager, this position is responsible for determining, planning, coordinating, scheduling, and directing environmental, health, and safety activities to ensure compliance to regulatory agencies, complement the EHS management System, and protect human health and the environment. This position does not directly supervise other personnel. The incumbent cocommunicates continually with all levels of personnel across all departments at Cleveland Operations. Externally, they communicate wIth OHSA contractors, and compliance agencies. Re Responsibilities: including but are not limited to: thQualifications - Managing, coaching, leading, and motivating plant personnel to achieve Howmet Aerospace’s EHS goals and objectives and continuously improve. - Assisting in the planning, directing, and coordination of EHS compliance activities through functional teams, the Director of Operations, and other EHS Department personnel. - Acting as liaison between local manufacturing and maintenance organizations to assist in executing those groups strategic and tactical EHS plans. - Assisting in the development and implementation of Health and Safety p...
