H2M architects + engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, environmental consulting firm with offices in NY & NJ seeks an Environmental Scientist to join our team. This position will have a strong focus on soil and groundwater sampling, subsurface delineations, environmental spill response and remedial activities, and some asbestos monitoring. Job Responsibilities: - Soil, groundwater and air sampling, coordinate and oversee soil borings and monitoring well installation, provide remediation oversight, perform asbestos and lead paint sampling, and assist in data management and evaluation and preparation of technical reports. - Communicating with a project team and interaction with clients and subcontractors. - Corresponding with regulatory agencies. - Development of work plans and report writing. - Other duties as assigned. Education & Qualifications: Annual salary for this role is $64,000-80,000.
